Welcome to the fourth annual Pickin' Up in the Pines! Oak Creek Watershed Council is proud to host this event, alongside the US Forest Service, the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality, Arizona Game and Fish, Tread Lightly!, and the National Forest Foundation. This is one of our biggest events of the year, with volunteers from all over the state coming together to help spruce up a heavy-use camping area after a long summer of activity. This area sits just above Oak Creek Canyon, and is a significant source of runoff into the creek. By cleaning up this are, we clean the whole watershed!
